Elease Patrick

Writer & Producer

Elease Patrick graduated from Rutgers University where she double-majored in English and Journalism. While still a senior, she became a staff writer for The Home News Tribune (New Brunswick) where she learned the art of the obituary. Of course, she wrote the occasional news blurb and the rare interview piece for the features section, but primarily it was obits. Seeking something more lively, Elease worked in broadcast news for a couple of different radio stations and eventually became a traffic reporter in the New York tri-state area.

Her discovery of screenwriting led her to relocate to Los Angeles, CA — the land of “happy accidents,” of which there have been several. The most notable, though, would have to be meeting the director who led to the production manager who led to the almost-line producer who led to the actual line producer who turned into the director of this film, Enrico Natale.

“Broken” is Elease’s first produced work and she’s looking forward to many more.
